It's giving... take me on holiday!

Hey!

We're back.. and just in time for that trip you had planned.. Do you keep thinking to yourself, I realllllllly want to wear that Rat & Boa sheer set in Greece but I low key don't want to spend $400 on it.... yeah same.

Don't worry babe we know what your thinking.. and yes. we do in fact allow our garments to travel with you.. soooo SAY HELLOOOOOO Santorini in our divine Rat & Boa Simonetta and you get the Sunset photo!

So long story short, yes you can absolutely hire from us for that trip you have coming up!

With destination weddings, interstate birthdays or a girls tropical getaway becoming increasingly popular after the past couple of covid years, of course we want you to look your best in one of our beautiful hire garments.

(P.S. Read until the end for some killer outfit recommendations if I do say so myself!)

There are a couple of extra precautionary terms and conditions that apply to your hire when taking a garment with you on a plane.

First and foremost, you must advise a West Coast Dress Hire staff member prior to booking so that we can accommodate any extended hire periods and simply be aware of the location of our garments. We wouldn’t want you or someone to miss out because we weren’t aware of potential travel delays!

On this, our regular hire period is 4 days. This is fine if you’re doing a quick weekend getaway! If you’re going to be gone for an extended period of time, we require a $10 per day extended hire. If you’re going to be gone for a really, really long time, email us or come instore and we can arrange an agreement to suit both parties!

When travelling via plane, we also ask that the garment/s that you have hired only go in your hand luggage and not in your checked suitcase. Check luggage is more prone to go missing during transit and unfortunately if this is the case, as the dress your responsibility once picked up, you will be liable to fund the replacement of the garment as it will be considered as lost or stolen. Having it in your hand luggage is simply a safer option for everyone!

Travel delays are super inconvenient but also extremely unavoidable sometimes which we totally understand! If this happens and you cannot return your dress on the agreed date of return, we ask that you please let us know via phone or email about your situation so we can come to a solution or further agreement. In the case of travel delays and issues with on time return, contact made via the Instagram platform will not be accepted, only phone and email so that your information can’t get lost in our DM’s.

What if I’m not returning to Perth? We have had a couple of girls hire from us and take a garment interstate but are either continuing to live interstate or continuing their travels from the location travelled to. How do you return the dress?

Super easy, we can arrange for a postage return if this is the case! Let us know in advance, once again so that we can accommodate time to allow the dress to come back to us without anyone missing out on their hire date. Auspost is super unreliable sometimes so we would rather block the dress out for longer to be safe rather than sorry!

We will give you the dress with a pre-paid, prepped return satchel so that after you’ve worn the dress you can return it the following business day. All we ask here is that you hand it directly over the counter at your local Auspost office and not in the standard or express post bins as this can cause delay in return. You wouldn’t want someone missing out on their hire would you?

Hiring with us for an interstate or international event is super easy and we love love love seeing the photos that come from it! Now for the fun part…

OUR DRESS RECOMMENDATIONS!

*if you did skip above please note that if our garment is lost you will owe us retail price...*

Girls trip to Bali

These kinds of trips seem to be a rite of passage in Australia. Are you even close with your group of girlfriends if you haven’t done the obligatory trip to Bali?

Heading to Sundays Beach club? We love the Janet knit midi by Bec and Bridge as a slouchy beach cover up that is so cute for lounging around the pool and just switch up the accessories and wear it out to dinner!

Staying at an all-inclusive resort in Nusa Dua? We would take a few dresses so you have garments that can interchange from the pool, to shopping, to dinner at the resort. We love the Paradiso mini by Hansen and Gretel, the Fiametta blouse by Rat and Boa, the Cobra set by Rat and Boa as well as the Soleil sundress by Alemais!

Wedding in Margaret River

One of the most popular wedding destinations this year! From beach weddings to breweries and wineries, Margaret River has a wedding venue for everyone.

Aravina Estate? We love the Simonetta by Rat and Boa, Wave Royal Blue Cut Out by Aje or the Lazar by Bec and Bridge for a more minimalist look.

Heading to Black Brewing Co? Pop on the Amber by Bec and Bridge, the Veronique in Lime by Bec and Bridge or the Vivi by SIR the Label for a fun and flowy approach.

Maybe the venue is Amelia Park Lodge. A beautiful and generally more formal venue, which we love! Our go-to’s would be the Effie by Natalie Rolt in black or gun metal, the Lorelai V-neck in Flame by Bec and Bridge or the Rosalia gown in Lime or Lilac for a colourful pop

Weekend in Melbourne

A couple of days in Melbourne is generally full of fun and glamour!

Heading to dinner at Bar Bambi? Pop on our Celina Skirt by Rat and Boa with a black crop, knee high boots and an oversized blazer!

Lunch with a view at Cargo Bar and Eatery in Docklands? We love the Isabella midi by Natalie Rolt for this! A simple, stylish blend of daytime and sexy.

Popping out to Lygon Street to get a feel for Little Italy? We love the Celine Shirt by Rat and Boa. As we all know, Melbourne can be quite chilly! Pair this top with some jeans, boots and let the sheer sparkle peak through under a coat.

European Summer

Everyone is in Europe at the moment, and we don’t blame you one bit! Jealous actually.

Romantic dinner in Rome? I would wear our Gemini and Roma Set by Rat and Boa for a fun

Sipping wine and ordering charcuterie boards in Paris? Our Effie knit by Bec and Bridge in white is a simple and elegant showstopper!

 Love always,
